We are seeking a talented and experienced Industrial Designer/Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Fusion 360 CAD tool, sheet metal design, animation, and render space. Experience in simulation space and manufacturing will be considered a plus. As an Industrial Designer/Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing cutting-edge designs and solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Fusion 360 CAD tool to create and modify 3D models of industrial products, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and marketing, to translate design concepts into feasible products.
• Generate detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for prototypes and production.
• Develop sheet metal designs, considering material selection, manufacturing processes, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct animations and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts and product features.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design software advancements to enhance design capabilities.
• Provide input and support in design reviews, design optimization, and design-for-manufacturing efforts.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure successful implementation of designs and address any production challenges.
• Assist in the development and improvement of design standards, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Designer, Mechanical Designer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Fusion 360 CAD tool is essential.
• Strong knowledge and experience in sheet metal design and fabrication.
• Ability to create animations and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Familiarity with simulation space and manufacturing processes is desirable.
• Proficiency in other design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and ergonomics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
